Our Market Access team monitor population demographics and develop solutions to give patients access to our medicines. We act as both educators and advocates for our products, processes, and practices that help us revolutionize how our medicines create value in society.


Primary activities include, but are not limited to:



  • Develop global Oncology combination market access and reimbursement strategies within Market Access Oncology team, in close collaboration with pricing/access, commercial and CORE functions

  • Assist key regional/country Market Access teams in development of regional/local combination market access,  reimbursement & pricing strategies

  • Act as GMAX Oncology liaison partner for key regional/country teams on combination and collaboration issues

  • Advise VEST/PDT teams on best approaches to gaining reimbursement

  • Collaborate with Portfolio GMAX team on tracking and analyzing analogue and competitor combinations to understand shifting payer landscape on combinations

  • Be answerable and present to Senior Management on combination and collaboration strategy issues

  • Advise commercial key functions on the Market Access combination and collaboration strategies, incl. representing Market Access in relevant committees' meetings

  • Collaborate closely with Business Development to consider access and reimbursement in new collaboration initiatives

  • Participate in select discussions and negotiations with external partners to incorporate Market Access combination strategy into commercial collaboration agreements.


Position Qualifications


Education



  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant subject

  • MBA or advanced degree is preferred


Experience and Skills



  • Overall experience 5-7 years in market access or similar roles

  • Minimum 2 years+ experience in Oncology specifically oncology reimbursement

  • Minimum 2 years+ experience in pricing/access/reimbursement with global markets

  • Strong and proven analytical skills

  • Understanding of the global US payer environment and perspectives

  • Experience in policy initiatives

  • Experience in strong influencing, negotiating, conflict resolution skills

  • Strategic thinking and integration skills

  • Experience successfully leading cross functional matrix teams

  • Proven success working within large and complex strategic initiatives

  • Strong project management and implementation/operational skills

  • Demonstrated ability to understand, develop and communicate scientific based strategies and messages

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills

  • Strong commercial orientation and business acumen

  • Preferably experience in contracting/negotiating  with external partners

The new office will be staffed by teams working in strategic and operational roles in medical affairs, clinical development, access and marketing operations functions.
