We are currently recruiting for a Global Marketing Director for Oncology Lung Cancers in our Company's Human Health Division.  The Global Marketing Director will lead strategies and marketing efforts for lung cancer and play a critical role supporting Scientific Engagement and Early Stage Disease strategies.


The position will be based in Kenilworth, NJ and will report to the Executive Director, Global Marketing. The position will require outstanding leadership in Product Management and Scientific Engagement and will focus on the evolution of our Company's scientific engagement and disease strategies for current and future indications. 


Strategic Talent



  • Lead Scientific Engagement Strategy, planning, and execution


  • Development of the Early Stage Disease strategy


  • Collaborate with Medical Affairs on strategic choices for advisory boards, thought leader engagements, medical symposia, webcasts, and speaker forums


  • Collaboration with Regional Marketing Leads and Biomarker Marketing colleagues to ensure strategic alignment and key tactics for local market understanding/readiness


  • Point responsibility for digital strategies to enhance customer experiences


  • Lead cross-functional Exhibit and Convention planning and execution


  • Liaise cross functionally on the development of global and regional workshops and assisting on new indication launches


  • Assist in new product development providing commercial input on activities including commercial assessments, Target Product Profile development, demand/revenue forecasting, and Business Development & Licensing activities


  • Professional Society Interactions


  • Solid scientific knowledge and the ability to review, interpret, communicate the same to deliver value to internal and external stakeholders


  • Effective cross-functional leadership with ability to create strategic plans and manage effective execution of plans


  • Demonstrated ability of dynamic thinking to work towards solutions across a complex set of stakeholders, including research and development, medical affairs, regulatory affairs, market analytics, Promotional Review Team, scientific communications, to successfully navigate the internal environments and deliver value to our key global stakeholders and markets


  • Thoughtful and rapid communications to a broad audience providing implications and guidance for key market events


  • Management of agency/vendor partners



Education Minimum Requirements



  • Bachelor of Arts or Science | MBA preferred



Required Experience and Skills



  • Minimum six year’s pharmaceutical business


  • Strategic and effective leadership, problem solving, teamwork, analytical, written/verbal communication, and presentation skills


  • Collaboration, influencing without authority and working successfully with cross-functional teams


  • Approximately 15-20% travel, including some weekends



Preferred Experience and Skills



  • Local or global marketing, oncology sales, development of product strategy, product/indication launch in oncology lung cancer.


  • Four years oncology marketing experience preferred .
