The Bern site acts as a center of expertise for development and manufacturing of innovative cell based viral- and bacterial vaccines and is recently expanding its portfolio into bacterial based therapeutic products.


Main Responsibilities:



  • Organizing and monitoring of inbound and/or outbound shipments in GxP and non-GxP environment (including temperature monitoring management)

  • Billing and export documentation

  • Ensuring compliance with local and global regulations

  • Participate in projects as SME for shipments

  • Participate in audits as SME for shipments

  • Perform Route Verification Studies

  • Support internal customer in shipment related questions (e.g. shipment mode, lead time)

  • Manage and monitor the order life cycle. This can include order processing and confirmations

  • Bring solutions to customer questions and queries (or forward them to the responsible employee)

  • Creating and updating process documents regarding shipments

  • Creating and executing Quality issues in an ETS

  • Handling observances from process documents

  • Observe the safety, accident prevention and hygiene rules

  • Compliance with GMP / EHS / SOX requirements and guidelines that are connected to the respective function


Who we are looking for:



  • Commercial degree or bachelor studies

  • Proactive and strong communicator in English and German

  • Background in export related fields

  • Knowledge of customer service and logistic processes

  • Knowledge of good distribution practice (GDP) is a major plus

  • Well organized and structured method of work

  • Customer focused. Results and performance driven

  • Demonstrates Problem Solving and Analytical Capabilities

  • Ability to lead through Influencing in a Matrix organization

  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills

  • Capable to adapt to changing circumstances and can implement change in a positive manner
