Product Owner / Requirements Analyst (80-100%)

Product Owner / Requirements Analyst (80-100%)


Location: Zurich, Switzerland (incl. travel to Serbia if situation requires and allows)
Responsibilities:
As a Product Owner:



  • Translate the product vision and stakeholder needs into implementable User Stories in alignment with
    the Product Manager

  • Prioritize product backlog, align priorities and scope of product with stakeholders (Product Manager,
    Clinical team, Hardware development etc.)

  • Ensure user stories are ready to implement before sprint planning (according to the DoR)

  • Define and agree sprint goals with the Development Teams

  • Accept / reject the implementation of the user stories according to acceptance criteria and DoD

  • Act as single point of contact for Development Team during sprints for resolving and clarifying
    questions and issues during development

  • Cooperate closely with internal technical experts, including data scientists, developers, architects, and
    testers

  • Collaborate with Scrum Master to facilitate agile practices: daily stand-ups, refinement meetings,
    planning meetings, retrospectives and sprint demos


As a Requirements Analyst:



  • In close collaboration with the Product Manager and other internal stakeholders, clarify the purpose
    and intention of the planned software increment and analyze the technical implications

  • Structure the functional and non-functional software requirements into levels of different granularity
    down to the granularity that allows the software requirements to be implemented by software
    development

  • Ensure that the software requirements are clear, complete, distinct and without contradictions

  • Identify edge cases and actively drive the conversation how they are handled

  • Ensure the vertical traceability from the product requirements down to the most detailed level

  • Document the software requirements according to company’s requirement management guidelines

  • Own and manage the software requirements-related deliverables according to the company’s QMS

  • Collaborate closely with the Test Manager and QA to ensure that fulfillment of requirements is
    documented in a compliant manner

  • Maintain the requirements repository in the company’s Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool

  • Manage changes to software requirements according to company’s change management guidelines

  • Supports the Risks Management regarding criticality rating of requirements


About you:



  • Passion about Ava, our community, and our mission to change women’s health

  • Degree from a renowned technical university (computer science, engineering, other)

  • Ideally CPRE foundation or advanced level, Certified Product Owner or similar certification

  • 2+ years experience as a Scrum Product Owner or Requirements Analyst

  • Background in software development

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret
    customer and business needs and translate them into practical applications and operational solutions

  • Comprehensive understanding of common architectures and technologies

  • Good understanding of software development processes and life cycle management – prior experience of
    development in a regulated industry is a big plus

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with track record of coordinating and communicating
    with different stakeholders (Data Science, Marketing, Software Development, Hardware)

  • High standard of personal organization and good project management skills

  • Demonstrated ability to balance user needs with business priorities and manage multiple competing
    priorities simultaneously and under pressure to completion

  • High self-motivation and drive to develop and implement new products efficiently

  • Enjoying a startup culture and being able to cope with uncertainty

  • Fluent in English; German, Serbian and other languages are a plus

  • Swiss or EU/EFTA work permit
