As a (Junior) UX Writer at Smallpdf, you will write, test, and continuously optimize the microcopy for different platforms (web, desktop, and mobile) and tools (e.g., eSign PDF, Compress PDF).

Responsibilities

• Write, test, and continuously optimize microcopy for different platforms and tools


• Advocate for and further develop our content style guide


• Partner with UX designers and UX researchers to develop usable, accessible, and delightful digital products


• Liaise with external localizers and translators to ensure quality and consistency across 24 languages


• Support the wider team with ad-hoc copy requests

Requirements

• Must be an English native speaker, other languages are an asset


• 5+ years of writing experience (e.g., journalism, copywriting), preferably UX writing experience


• Nice to have:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written


• Ability to work towards deadlines and be on time consistently


• Passionate about SaaS


• Comfortable working in fast-paced, multicultural work environment


• EU-citizen or a valid work permit to work in Switzerland
