Software Developer VoIP Communication

Job function

• Software developer for the Trapeze VoIP system for the following components:
  
  
  
  • Frontend Application for the Trapeze VoIP-Softswitch
  
  
  • Gateways to PMR radio systems and Public Mobile Networks
  
  
  • Android based application for and tablets
  
  

Description of the main tasks:

• Application development based on functional requirements from the customer projects or strategic development tasks.


• Software design, implementation and system integration test of new features


• Debugging of incidents coming from the field support


• Maintain the design documentation

Competencies & Accountabilities:

• Responsible for the communication architecture of the Trapeze ITCS system


• Represents voice and data communication in the architecture expert group of ITCS

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master degree in computer science , Information technology or Computer Engineering

Required skills / experiences:

• 5Y experience in VoIP development in SIP/RTP; java; java script


• Experience in Borland C++ would be an advantage for legacy system


• Good knowledge of IT network engineering in context of VoIP


• Good knowledge about radio communication networks and standards (Analogue, TETRA; public cellular networks prio 1)


• Very good written and spoken German and English
