Junior Business Analyst

Are you passionate about working with regulatory and reference data with an interest in financial markets? We are looking for a dedicated team player to join our Regulatory Hub (RegHub) Business Team within SIX Financial Information, part-time 50%. You will integrate, analyze and review regulation and reference data that come to the SIX Regulatory Hub platform. The role will be based in Zürich; however, you will be working closely with international stakeholders.

What You Will Do

• support the correct and consistent integration of regulation and reference data (e.g. MIFID, PRIIP) from multiple sources into our feed and display products – we constantly align with new/updated relevant regulations


• identify business needs, analyze and conceptualize them, in order to allow better informed business decisions and to provide strong guidance for software development


• data quality maintenance of incoming feeds


• maintain customers' contact and response to clients' requests/queries


• assist project management during project planning and delivery phase

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or Computer Science


• working experience in the financial industry


• knowledge of object-oriented / other programming language and familiarity with various file formats (e.g. UTF, ANSI) and file structures (e.g. CSV) is a great plus


• analytical, technical, problem solving and communication skills are a key strength


• excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German, French is a plus
