Compliance Officer Compliance Reviews

Your field of responsibility

 

You will take over a wide range of duties as a Compliance Officer in the Swiss Universal Bank Division (including Premium Clients, Private Banking and Digital Banking, Corporate and Investment Banking, Institutional Clients and External Asset Managers) as well as Corporate Functions.
In this role you are responsible for conducting independent high quality compliance reviews to determine compliance with internal and external regulations and standards, i.e. identification, assessment and documentation of compliance risks
As part of the team you take over the responsibility for initiating remedial actions to mitigate identified compliance risks, and tracking of their timely resolution. Additionally you will be involved in the ongoing development of review programs and new control activities.
You have the chance to closely collaborate with various specialist units and business partners within the bank.

You will join our highly motivated, fast-paced Compliance Reviews team, which is mandated to perform holistic assessments of and deep dives into various areas with elevated compliance risks. In this team, you will have the opportunity to expand your compliance skills as well as build a comprehensive and stable network in an international environment.

Your skills and experience

 

You have gained a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the banking sector within a Compliance, Legal, Audit or similar function. In addition, you have an independent working approach, combined with the ability to identify relevant compliance considerations in any given situation.



  • A university degree in Law/Economics or comparable studies or equivalent in working experience in the financial industry sector

  • Enthusiasm for data analysis and the involvement in developing new compliance tools

  • Reliability and ability to grasp relevant issues quickly, and meticulous attention to detail

  • An open, flexible, team-oriented personality

  • Good communication skills with a high standard of written and spoken German and English; other languages would be an advantage 

  • Good knowledge and experience with MS Office products, as well as a flair for figures
