Site Reliability & DevOps Engineer (80-100%)

Your field of responsibility

 

 



  • A challenging role as Site Reliability and DevOps Engineer in the Online & Mobile Banking domain.

  • Become part of a highly motivated and dedicated agile SRE & DevOps team (located in Zurich and India), that is eager to deliver a high quality product and willing to support you with any help needed to reach this goal. 

  • A key role where you focus on availability, reliability and performance of a complex and distributed system, but on monitoring and alerting, too.

  • Develop fully automated CI and CD services and processes including build, quality gates, test and deploy in all environments.

  • Work with modern technology stack in a complex environment.

  • You will get the opportunity to gain experience with the application end-to-end from an IT perspective, so that you will increase your multi-role capabilities.


 


Your skills and experience

 

 



  • A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or have equivalent experience or education.

  • Do you have a strong drive to be a ‘detective’ and understand why things are working – or not working as they should and to resolve the root cause of the issue?

  • Working experience as SRE or in DevOps with Java Enterprise Edition, Web Services, REST, Message Queues, Spring Boot, OpenShift, AngularJS, Jenkins, Splunk, GIT, JIRA.

  • Familiar with working with multiple teams in a Scaled Agile framework, DevOps concepts and monitoring tools e.g. AppDynamics, Grafana, Prometheus.

  • Are you a dedicated teammate with good analytical and engineering skills, comfortable to code and to script supporting development and operation teams?

  • Capable of leading and coordinating engineering topics within assigned areas and coaching/guiding other software developers.

  • Proficiency in English, German a plus!
