Mechanical System Quality Engineer - e-Bike (m/f/d) 100%

To strengthen our team we are seeking a Mechanical System Quality Engineer - e-Bike for our office in Cham, Switzerland per July 1st 2021 or by agreement. In this role you will be working together with our design and R&D team to develop the best e-Bikes in the world.


How you’ll make a difference



  • Support the development process for new ebike systems

    • Follow NPI projects for new e-Bike systems

    • Support the Engineering team with the definition of component specifications


  • Work with suppliers to ensure development of components in line with quality and reliability requirements:

    • define and execute component test plans

    • assess suppliers’ manufacturing capability


  • Manage the validation of new motors, batteries and connectors

    • Define and execute component validation plans

    • Follow up on development issues

    • Assess components and systems readiness for production


  • Follow up on critical field issue

    • Investigate field issues related to system components

    • Work with the suppliers to ensure timeline resolution of the issue and implementation of corrective actions



What you need to win



  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related fields

  • 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Product development process

  • Experience of manufacturing environment and assembly techniques

  • Ability to multitask effectively among different projects in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent communication skills as you will collaborate with and coordinate between quality, engineering and manufacturing team based in Europe, US and Asia

  • Knowledge of FMEA, SPC, Six Sigma and Problem solving (8D)

  • Excellent English skills (written and spoken), German and / or Chinese is a plus

  • Willingness to travel from time to time nationally and internationally

  • Passion for cycling is a plus
