Job description



  • You are in charge of the concept and development of real-time embedded software for timekeeping systems used in the next Olympic Games or World Cups, e.g. wearable devices, timers, sensors, display systems.

  • You ensure the highest quality and reliability of the software and support continuous improvement.

  • During sport competitions, you assist the technology and validations.

  • You work in close collaboration with our sports managers and the sports federations to validate the new timekeeping technologies during sport events.

  • You develop concept of timekeeping systems and take part of small project management.

Professional requirements



  • You hold a Bachelor or a Master in Embedded Software Engineering or equivalent degree and possess excellent knowledge of C and C++ as used in microcontrollers.

  • You have experience in real-time OS and communication systems (Ethernet, USB, UHF, Bluetooth, WLAN, RFID) and protocols.

  • You read schematics and use common electrical tools, such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers, with excellent test and debugging skills.

  • Experience in utilizing FPGAs using VHDL would be an asset, as well as some experience in Mobile Applications (Android) and/or Embedded Linux and knowledge in Matlab.
