As the Head of Machine Learning at turicode, you will guide the research and push the boundaries of data extraction in documents. You’ll be leading a small team of data scientists and master students to develop new algorithms in the area of document understanding and apply your skills in both rapid prototyping and the development of long-term sustainable systems. In close collaboration with product development and the infrastructure team you will make the results of your research available to our customers.

• Experience in deep learning (prior experience with Transformer networks is a plus).


• Demonstrable Record of prior work with Python, Numpy, PyTorch and/or TensorFlow.


• Willingness to represent turicode at conferences and fairs as a speaker.


• High degree of self-organization and good communication skills.

• Thrive in an independent, yet highly cooperative environment.


• Being eligible to work in Switzerland (being Swiss or a citizenship in the EU or an EFTA state).


• English at full professional proficiency, German is a plus.
