Our job is to bring Amazon's e-commerce expertise to cloud software and fundamentally change how software is discovered and consumed in the cloud. We have a long list of new ideas just waiting to be designed and implemented. We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to drive significant revenue growth with AWS Accounts. The role requires you to help customers think strategically about their software estate as they move from on-prem environments to the cloud. As a member of the AWS Marketplace EMEA Business development team your responsibilities as Senior BDM, Customer Advisor, will be to build and execute programs working with AWS commercial teams to increase AWS Marketplace adoption at AWS customers across Israel and EMEA. As the owner of this business, you will work with the AWS Marketplace EMEA teams to set strategy and determine which products to pursue in order maximize value for Buyers. You will engage directly with Procurement Managers to drive and support adoption of AWS Marketplace at AWS customers. This role may require some travel. Successful applicants will have extensive sales, business development and account management experience in the software industry as well as an understanding of the ISV ecosystem. You should be technically competent and understand the cloud architecture environment and best practices associated with both on-prem architecture and cloud-based solutions (right-sizing hosts, security on and off the cloud architecture). You should be very delivery-focused, with a track record of exceeding sales goals, customer-centric, and self-motivated. This position has a high level of visibility, and you will need to be a strong leader, able to communicate clearly and compellingly internally and externally. GRUNDQUALIFIKATIONEN


Basic qualifications:
· Partner/Software Sales experience working across the software ecosystem, channel and technology companies in DACH.
· Strong verbal and written communications skills in German and English is essential.
· Significant business development and program management experience.
· Comfortable holding technical discussions associated with best practice cloud-based solutions.
· Past account management experience where you exceeded quota and met key performance metrics.
· Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-level executives.
· Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross functional audiences.
· Ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
· Experience working within enterprise software development industry.
· Solid understanding of Cloud computing technology and a utility pricing model.

Preferred Qualifications:
· MBA or Graduate Degree
· Fluency in additional European language(s)
· Experience with varying software licensing models
