Product Manager - Electrical Vehicle Charging Stations

The Electric Vehicle Charging Stations Product Manager is responsible for guiding the success of the product and leading the cross-functional team that is responsible for developing or improving it. It is an important organizational role that sets the strategy, roadmap, and feature definition for the product line.
The Electric Vehicle Charging Stations Product Manager is in charge of the AC and DC product lines and drive new product development for assigned product lines to achieve company short and long term strategic and business objectives in Europe, Middle East & Africa.
The Product Manager works closely with Segment Managers to ensure the product lines would address the needs of different customers such as facility managers or fleet managers, and the specific needs for different locations such as home, office, shopping centers or on the go charging stations.
 
The role reaches across many departments internally, working with the engineering team, sales, customer service and is to create system designs optimised for answering high-end applications that will increase ETiB-related sales.


 


MAIN FUNCTIONS:


'In order to provide product offering that fulfill customers needs, the EV Charging Stations Product Manager performs the below critical tasks:


A. Leads all product marketing and business development/support activities for assigned ETiB product lines in EMEA
B. Gathers voice of the customer, accumulates market knowledge of key targeted sub-segments, identify attractive Use Cases with critical customer values and related competitive offerings
C. Drives the new product developments from the specification of market requirements to the launch and post launch (ex: Actual revenue versus target... ) of new product.
D. Develop new business models as needed (go to market, packages, pricing model) together with Sales, Segment and Service teams
E. Investigates and evaluates new market/business opportunities, including partnerships, contributing to product line strategy planning
F. Participates with other regions (Americas and APAC) to the definition of the global product roadmap
G. Coordinates product marketing positioning and outbound messaging in EMEA for assigned product lines
H. Drives the definition and ensure execution of marketing communication strategies with the Marcom team and the necessary Sales enablement tools (trainings, sales presentation...)
I. Coordinates pricing strategy in EMEA for assigned product lines, analyzing market pricing and closely monitoring end-to-end margins
J. Receives escalation on pre-sales questions for assigned product lines in synchronization with Divisional Business Developers
K. Maintains a constant dialogue and strongly interface with the main vertical sales leaders and Segment leaders that are important to his product line
L. Trains application engineers and Sales/Marketing in countries


Qualifications


QUALIFICATIONS:



  • A University Degree from Business school or Master degree in engineering

  • 5 to 10 years of experience as Product Manager

  • At least 2 years of experience in Solar, Electric mobility or Electrical industry.

  • Personal interest for Energy transition, electric vehicles, home automation, renewable energies and software is a plus.

  • Ability to set a product vision and strategy

  • Ability to learn, articulate, market and support products and technologies related to energy and building efficiency

  • Ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously and complete projects with tight deadlines

  • Ability to work in a highly international environment / in a matrix organization

  • Ability to think and act strategically

  • Must be strongly customer-oriented

  • Good written & oral communications skills

  • Good presentation skills

  • Good interpersonal skills

  • Fluent in English
