You as a Treasury Accounting Lead, will be part of Power Grids business and reporting to the Treasury Specialist, you are responsible for ensuring sound operations by timely and accurate treasury accounting records, management and financial reporting. The role enable strong insight into the varied activities of the global treasury center and gives opportunities to utilize skills and interest outside the core accounting & reporting area, such as risk management, trade compliance reporting, controls, involvement in planning and execution of special transactions and projects (incl. systems).


Your responsibilities



  • Running treasury accounting and month-end closing with the global treasury management system

  • Supporting intra-group reporting process (intra-group treasury transaction statements, intra-group matching and related follow ups, financial reporting package input).

  • Supporting quarterly reporting of treasury specific scope towards our Group Reporting.

  • Acting as a key go-to point in financial instruments accounting in the treasury areas of Power Grids.

  • Closely supporting the PG GTO management team with insight and regular updates of financial position, results/earnings and cash-flow (management reporting, financial reporting analyses/commentary).

  • Subject matter expert over the treasury ledger and reporting set-up in our treasury management system in terms of ongoing maintenance and control, as well as any future evolution / enhancements.

  • Supporting treasury operations functional controlling aspects (budgeting, cost controlling, other).

Your background



  • Finance, Accounting degree or relevant vocational training.

  • Accurate, pro-active, able to work independently with strong analytical and communication skills.

  • Several years of Treasury accounting & reporting experience at corporate.

  • Strong knowledge of core corporate treasury accounting & reporting areas including: Cash & clearing accounts, banking flows, value date concepts.

  • Intercompany lending/borrowing incl. interest accrual and income/expense.

  • Interest rate and day count conventions.

  • Foreign exchange accounting (re-measurement impacts, realized impacts).

  • Derivative accounting & reporting (fair values, realized impacts).

  • Strong knowledge of productivity tools, Excel (working with system outputs).

  • Experience in accounting / ledger set-up and maintenance and closing & reporting work.

  • (period maintenance, ledger rules, accounting process runs and exports, SAP or other GL interfacing, usage of group reporting packages and tools).
