Your contribution to KPMG

• Solve complex problems for insurance and reinsurance clients


• Support with regulatory audits for insurance companies according to different national and/or international accounting standards (e.g. OR, IFRS, US GAAP)


• Support clients with the actuarial aspects of finance transformation programs


• Automate current processes, develop new solutions in order to analyze, evaluate and visualize actuarial data in R, Python or Tableau


• Undertake independent reserve reviews, pricing exercises and due diligence projects


• Advise clients on risk and capital issues including Swiss Solvency Test and Solvency II

This is what makes you successful

• University degree in actuarial science, economics, physics, data science, statistics, finance or mathematics


• Exceptional quantitative problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively


• First experience within actuarial science or actuarial internship would be a strong plus


• Willingness to acquire a professional actuarial or risk management qualification (SAV/FIA/CAS or equivalent)


• Strong IT skills: especially in MS Office and at least good knowledge of one programming language (e.g. Python, R, C#)


• Knowledge of visualization dashboards such as Tableau, Qlik or PowerBI is a plus


• Proficient in German and English
