In this role

Your role in our ELCA Cloud Services Plateform group is to lead the System team.

We look for a candidate with a technical profile, that will continue to have a large share of “hands on” activity, but who is also able to drive the system team (3 to 4 people currently) to excellence, making sure to provide a high level of services and delivering improvement and transformation projects for our customers and our plateform.

You have strong experience in managing production infrastructures on Private datacenter or Public clouds.

You will be part of the infrastructure operations team reporting to infrastructure operations manager. The operation team is in charge of running more than 5’000 servers and containers for our internal SaaS applications and our customers platform relying on diverse cloud providers.

About your profile

You believe that software only makes sense if it works at any time; you know that reconciling production with development is full of technical challenges.
For this vacancy we are looking for a graduate candidate from a university, polytechnic or other specialized IT diploma, with extensive experience in Linux, Windows and system components (SANs, Backups) on production systems.

Previous management role is not absolutely necessary but we will expect a candidate who is able to coach others, be accountable for the overall delivery of his team, can drive projects until the end.

Your expertise covers some or all of the followings:

• Strong Unix/Linux operating system experience including troubleshooting/monitoring/Backup




• Configuration and deployment management tools (Puppet, Ansible), System automation Scripting




• Hypervisor: VMware




• Storage: SAN/Fibre Channel/iSCSI




• Databases: MySQL/Oracle/PostgreSQL




• Software Defined Infrastructure




• Configuration and deployment management tools (Puppet, Chief, Ansible, terraform)




• Container platforms: Docker, OpenShift, OKD or Kubernetes – operations




• Overall knowledge of Windows Server




• Good understanding of Network concepts (firewalling, routing, switching, load balancing)




• Experience with Continuous integration tools and application servers such as TomCat, JBoss or Wildfly is a plus.




• You have an excellent command of spoken and written French and English.
