Job description

The position of Head of Audit Switzerland.

Main responsibilities

• Manage and lead team of internal audit professionals covering Switzerland;


• Develop and deliver risk based audit plan in a complex organisation;


• Develop, manage and maintain relationships with senior private banking and support function management;


• Understand key risks in private banking and use this knowledge to improve the control environment of EFG.

Skills and experience

• At least 10 years internal or external audit experience at a big 4 or major private bank;


• Qualified accountant or internal auditor;


• Strong experience in understanding and applying Swiss Private banking regulations or regulations applicable to a Swiss private bank at another important private banking hub (e.g. UK, Luxembourg, Singapore, Hong Kong);


• Strong interpersonal and negotiating skills;


• Proven leadership track record;


• English language at high proficiency essential (German, French and Italian are an added bonus);


• Ability to travel within CH (up to 25% of time).
