Structural Heart is a business unit that provides minimally invasive treatment options for cardiology structural disease   and is one of Medtronic's Cardiovascular Portfolio business areas that is expected to continue to grow rapidly in the future.


As a member of the European TAVI market development team, this position provides relevant marketing and communication materials and tools for the market development and sales teams to use on-site in hospitals as well as on national level for market development strategy execution and indication penetration, so more patients can benefit from the lifesaving TAVI treatment option. The development of these materials will be in close collaboration with the existing sales teams and SHQ staff such as the product marketing or the digital hub.


The market development marketing specialist will be working closely with the Western European colleagues to develop, drive and orchestrate the all market development marketing campaigns including digital activities.


 


A Day in the Life


Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.



  • Leads European TAVI Scientific communication at main congresses

  • Leads KOL management, engagement, and advisory boards

  • Ensures regular KOL contacts with leadership

  • Speaker podium briefing and Evolut brand advocacy

  • Ensures KOL visibility to senior leadership and engagement in global projects

  • Aligns Western Europe KOL plans with OU plan

  • Leads regular KOL researches and update of KOL maps

  • Clinical data dissemination; increasing internal clinical data understanding and communication

  • Develops clinical messages to marketing and sales context

  • Compiles market development clinical evidence internal and externally for congress and tender valorization.

  • Oversees data collection and dissemination of data in TAVI registries, Seeking opportunities for alternative data sources that could be used to generate regional data e.g. real-world data, reimbursement databases, TAVI registries, Support annual updates of Market Models and PAA models (incidence/prevalence, penetration).

  • Develops communications of clinical evidence strategy, forthcoming conference presentations, publications.

  • Oversees the creation of all types of content to achieve Medtronic's reputational and messaging aims.

  • Develops reputational KPI's, listening tools and the strategies for tracking and measuring program impact on reputation on a corporate, regional, or global basis.

  • Leverages insights to strengthen programs and build new strategies.

  • Builds and maintains stakeholder contact programs and databases to directly connect and share MDT's point of view and insight to the right audiences.


 


 

Must Have: 

  • Clinical/Medical university degree or Baccalaureate degree and minimum 7 years of relevant experience

  • Individual contributor able to provides guidance, coaching and training to other employees within job area.

  • Manages major / moderately complex projects, involving delegation of work and review of work products, at times acting as a team leader.


 



Nice to Have



  • TAVI ( transcatheter aortic valve implantation) experience. 

  • Advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

  • Broad  knowledge of project management.
