Consultant (Geologist/Hydrogeologist) - Soil & Groundwater Investigation and Remediation (m/w/d)
for ERM`s Sierre, Switzerland office
What you`ll be doing:
Support the Swiss Liability Portfolio Management and Remediation (LPMR) team in environmental site investigation, risk assessment and soil & groundwater remediation projects
Serve our local and international clients in managing their contaminated land related projects in Switzerland
Become part of our expert team regarding soil and groundwater as well as remedial design, planning, oversight and supervision
Receive coaching in technical and scientific skills, as well as project management
Be familiar with quality management, costs and deadlines, occupational safety, health protection, as well as accident avoidance
What we are looking for:
Bachelor or Master degree or equivalent in geology/hydrogeology/environmental science or engineering
1 - 2 years of professional experience in related fields
Motivated for organizing and conducting field work (sampling, drilling supervision etc.)
Independent and structured style of working, attention to detail
Good work ethic and team player
Proficiency (written and oral) in French and German and a very good command of English will be considered an advantage
Flexibility and willingness to travel
Motivated for a wide range of tasks
