We are hiring for the role of:


HR Assistant (60%)


 We are looking for a dynamic, solution-oriented and creative HR Assistant in our headquarter office in Basel, Switzerland. In this new position, you will support the HR Manager in the smooth administration of the HR department and help to develop and maintain HR processes.


As HR Assistant you will:



  • Support and work hand-in-hand with the HR Manager in various HR activities (e.g., recruitment activities, on-/offboarding processes, contract, reference letters, etc.)

  • Assist all employees with HR queries (e.g., vacation, time management, sick leave, etc.) and ensure time management system is updated

  • Provide support with the administration of employee benefits (pension, health insurance, social insurances, family allowances) and ensure relevant declarations

  • Coordinate welcome sessions for new employees in collaboration with internal stakeholders

  • Maintain and update employees’ files

  • Support the implementation of the company’s culture

  • Act as contact person for employees and Swiss public administration

  • Participate actively in the organization of staff events and activities

  • Participate in HR projects as requested and needed

  • Support for monthly payroll processing and administration (including all preparation and follow-up)


Requirements:



  • Swiss Federal Certificate in HR (completed or on-going)

  • 2+ years’ experience working in a similar position

  • Experience in an international environment is a plus

  • Very good knowledge of Swiss Labor Law and employment principles, knowledge of Swiss social security is a plus

  • Experience in payroll processing and administration is an asset

  • Excellent communication skills in English and German

  • IT literate (MS Office, HR tools)

  • Dynamic and reliable team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a pro-active mindset

  • Good organization and prioritizing skills

  • Capability to work in a dynamic and international environment
