Job Description
4,400 that’s the number of patients around the world that have been delivered a Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy. This has been approved for use in adult patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) (a subtype of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma) or for patients up to 25 years of age who have acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL).
You will lead the global cross-functional team to develop and execute strategic and tactical plans across all approved indications. Drives marketing mix, cross-functional matrix organization (manufacturing, hub services, etc.) and implement operational plans to optimize sales, market share and revenue growth in the short and long term.
Major Accountabilities
• Influence across the matrix and markets by leading the differentiation pillar at the WorldWide Brand Team (WWBT) to identify near and long-term opportunities for the product in DLBCL & pALL and devise appropriate strategies to maximize value in the indication.
• Co-leading the WWBT to co-create with the key markets brand key assets, strategy and tactics
• Driving planning and implementation process for the strategic and tactical plans on differentiation.
• Build relationship with global medical experts and leverage the insights collected to support launch plan and lifecycle management activities
• Work closely with the Regions/markets and manufacturing to identify, understand the drivers and barriers to success for short and long-term commercial success
• Capture best practices and look for opportunities to scale learnings, synergies across both Global and regional launch and promotional activities
• Analyse Regional/CPO brand performance, as required, to advise discussions on opportunities and issues in driving accelerated profitable growth.
• Support markets by timely response to market requests for information and materials
Minimum requirements
What you’ll bring to the role:
• University degree in bioscience, medicine, business, and/or economics, MBA is preferred
• 8 years+ operational experience with the emphasis on product/brand management, ideally across a variety of different therapy areas.
• Sales experience within the biotech/pharmaceutical industry
• Proven track record of working cross-functionally (medical, finance, sales, health economics, marketing access)
• Strong strategic mind-set and in- depth knowledge of customer/marketplace, key dynamics, and current knowledge of key competitors and their likely strategies
• Well-developed understanding of Region regulatory and market environment including relationship building with KOLs, Key Accounts, regulatory bodies and/or media
• Well-developed planning and resource allocation skills;
• Ideally first leadership experience with proven ability and capacity to empower associates of widely varying backgrounds across a dispersed and matrix organization
• Languages: English (At least 1 additional European language preferred)
