At a Glance:

We are looking for a Spatial Designer to join our team. In a small teamwe shape the future look and feel of On’s brand experience, which covers a variety of scales,from very detailed design of products to interior spaces, up to microarchitecture. Within aselected team of designers, we develop and convert a cross-disciplinary design languagewith a holistic approach to all our products and projects. You will work in a fast-movingenvironment where you will be involved in the entire design process from concept research toproduct briefings and execution of projects. 

Your Team:

You will work in the On design studio within a dynamic and international team. The design team includes footwear, apparel, accessories and spatial designers who all closely collaborate with developers, product managers, material and innovation specialists, art directors and people from sales and marketing. We never forget the function starts with fun and we always try to findnew ways to solve problems. 

Your Mission:

• Create moodboards, visualise and communicate with images and samples


• Carry out material and trend research and communication with potential producers


• Create visualisation(CADmodels, renderings and prototypes) of concepts and designs and generate technical drawings and production assets 


• Work on a broad spectrum of projects ranging from very detailed products to one off projects, micro architecture, to pop up and brand experience designs(experimental, art, interactive) 


• Work from conceptualisation through to execution while managing internal as well as external stakeholders and make sure information flow is ensured and projects are delivered on time


• Work with suppliers and producers, manage costing, negotiations and vendor management


• With a holistic and experimental approach you create the future look of On

Your Story: 

• Minimum of 4+ years of progressive work experience in a creative and related field


• You hold a bachelor or master degree in product /industrial design or a similar education 


• You are a highly hands-on person with a can-do attitude, and a passion for sport


• You are able to transfer research and conceptual thinking through to execution 


• You have an excellent spatial imagination and technical understanding 


• You have an eye for the unusual, upcoming trends and materials


• You have good CAD(Rhino) and Adobe Creative suite skills(InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)


• You are a team player and have a positive mindset 


• High proficiency in English and German(verbal and written) is a must have
