At Scandit, we develop real-time computer vision solutions for smartphones, wearables and robots that combine modern machine learning approaches with computer vision.

To expand our engineering team, we are looking for a Salesforce/Apex Developer who specializes in developing advanced applications on the Salesforce platform.

Together with our integration engineers and full-stack developers, you will be responsible for the bidirectional data flows between our in-house applications and Salesforce. This includes setting up the data synchronization, monitoring for issues, and creating automated end-to-end tests. 

In addition, as an Apex developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining applications that are closely linked to Salesforce and that run on the Salesforce platform. The latter includes a wide range of topics, ranging from automating and streamlining the sales process to developing advanced financial reporting functionality.

What You Will Do

• Implement new features and maintain our line-of-business applications with a strong focus on the Salesforce platform (i.e., advanced Apex development)


• Improve integrations between Salesforce and other systems (i.e., Salesforce integration)


• Ensure data consistency and accuracy across all integrated systems


• Create automated full end-to-end tests for data flows across systems


• Support the sales teams (and the related business units) in automating and streamlining their Salesforce processes

Who You Are

• You have experience in developing for the Salesforce platform (Apex development experience)


• You have experience syncing data to Salesforce and using REST interfaces


• You have a firm understanding of agile software development methodologies and a strong knowledge of common data structures and algorithms


• You enjoy working in a cross-functional (engineering, marketing, business operations) and international team


• Advanced knowledge of common programming languages/frameworks (e.g., Java, Ruby on Rails, Python/Django) is considered to be an advantage
