Responsibilities

Major functions:



  • Keep web content up to date, relevant and engaging

  • Create best practice UX for our audience personas

  • Drive forward interactivity and lead-generation opportunities

  • Support teams and respond to requests for digital content production across the organization

  • Support Holcim local market teams to deliver effective digital comms and content

  • Ensure high digital engagement through social, email and web content

  • Support project and campaign digital content delivery

  • Liaise with agencies and suppliers and manage relationships

  • Support migration of website from Drupal 7 to Drupal 9

  • Monitor and report on digital performance for continuous improvement

  • Write,create, build and publish content for Holcim including:

  • Web pages

  • Blogs,news and updates

  • Social media content

  • Produce email newsletters and manage email journeys

  • Produce landing pages and digital materials

  • Provide tactical support to the org for digital content production, engagement and mobilisation

  • Drive best practice when it comes to web experience

  • Manage and grow SEO opportunities

  • Monitor and report on digital performance analytics for web, email and social

  • Support secure and legally compliant distribution of data as we grow our email database

  • Provide training and support to colleagues in regards to best practice on digital communications and content production


Education/Qualifications



  • A bachelors or equivalent in communications, marketing or other relevant fields

  • 5+ years experience in digital production and content creation

  • Relevant advanced qualifications in communications, design, media, technical, or other related subjects desirable


Experience



  • Demonstrable experience working with internal and external stakeholders in a complex, large, global organization

  • Proven track record working with content management systems


 


Knowledge & Skills



  • Excellent organisation skills, ability to prioritize, attention to detail

  • An understanding of XHTML, CSS, Drupal

  • Rich media editing and/or design (e.g. Photoshop) skills

  • Knowledge of analytics platforms especially Google Analytics

  • Articulate, creative, passionate, flexible and resilient

  • Interest in sustainability and environmental issues

  • Proactive attitude and ability to take initiative and work independently

  • Excellent team player with good networking and interpersonal skills


Language Requirements

Excellent written and spoken English – other language(s) an advantage
