Senior Compliance Officer for Investment Solutions & Products

Your field of responsibility

 

Join us in an exciting position as Coverage Compliance Officer for the Investment Solutions & Products (IS&P) business within Sustainability, Research & Investment Solutions (SRI) in Zurich. Provide compliance advice and subject matter expertise on topics related to a variety of investment products and solutions, such as collective investment vehicles, discretionary / advisory mandates and related initiatives. As an independent function, you perform regular and ad-hoc compliance risk assessments, monitor business activities and conduct other topical reviews. In order to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements, internal policies and procedures. You further mitigate risk through ongoing formalization of compliance processes while maintaining a solid understanding of local and international regulatory requirements (e.g. MiFID, FIDLEG, SBA Portfolio Management Guidelines, cross border business requirements). The role offers you a strategic opportunity to make a significant contribution to the risk and compliance landscape of high-profile initiatives and projects as well as to build up a broad, cross-functional network.

Your skills and experience

 

We are seeking to complement our team with someone who has an independent mindset, strong communication skills and the dedication to perform in a versatile role. To thrive within this role it requires the following:



  • A university degree in law, economics or an equivalent education

  • At least 6 years of proven experience in a legal, compliance, consulting, risk management or related function within the financial services industry combined with a strong product-focus

  • In-depth understanding of financial investment products in addition to an affinity for regulatory and legal aspects, as well as expertise in discretionary/advisory mandates or investment funds

  • Business proficiency in English is a requirement. German or any other language skills are an asset

  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills in combination with a reliable, thorough working style and a positive can-do attitude

  • Ability to balance priorities in a fast paced environment, and exhibit a high degree of flexibility and creativity
