Job Purpose and Impact


The Trade Flow Management Associate Director will lead a team to source trade flows to meet the needs of our various funding structures. In this role, you will partner with commercial teams to develop the trade flow supply and demand framework model and develop and implement strategies to unlock additional interest and capacity with our investor base by improving the access to the defined third party external trade flows. You will also review and implement the global trade flow management organization and make recommendations to implement structures that support future growth.


Key Accountabilities



  • Lead the team to develop our trade flow patterns, reviewing existing eligible trade flow patterns, collaborating with commercial businesses to identify their trade flow patterns, reviewing and approving new trade flow patterns and one-off requests and trade flow allocation.

  • Foster relationships with commercial businesses, marketing proactively specific flow opportunities, identifying opportunities to ensure commercial businesses maintaining consistent flows in critical geographies.

  • Manage and nurture relationships with existing third party trade flow vendors globally and specific geographies, understand local conditions of importing and exporting various products from targeted countries, negotiating price and terms to originate flows from third parties.

  • Manage the trade flow execution framework model and systems to ensure the business requirements are met.

  • Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and disciplinary actions. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.


Qualifications


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Confirmed knowledge in trade finance and international payments methods

  • Minimum of six years of related work experience


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Three years of supervisory experience

  • Minimum of eight years of trade or commodity finance with track record established over related industry experience
