Mission

Tasks and responsibilities

• Designing, developing and automating protocols on client side with scientific teams


• Developing and establishing automated assay workflow for Standard Operating


• Procedure (SOP), including requirements, scripting, testing and improving


• Performing routine maintenance on automation instruments and liquid handling


• Establishing new processes and workflows


• Execution of control/ quality assurance of processes and instruments


• Support for the establishment of our local entity


• Support for the development of the Compliance Service Line

Studies

Your profile

• Academic education in molecular biology, engineering, biotechnology, or in related field


• At least 2 years working experience in implementation and operation of automated systems.


• Experience in building automated laboratory workflows in industrial setting in molecular biology and genomics


• Experience in working with liquid-handling instruments, and other automation instruments like automated plate washer etc.


• Professional level knowledge of biological principles and engineering


• Programming experience, especially in Python and R, is a plus


• Experience with Beckman Biomek i7 workstation is ideal


• Enthusiastic and customer focused


• Structured and methodical work attitude


• Independent and proactive


• Willingness to travel
