What you'll be doing here


  • investigate physical, chemical and techno-functional properties of a defined mixture of two plant-based proteins

  • explore the impact of the donwstreaming strategy for protein isolates on their mixing behaviour

  • seek to elucidate underlying mechanisms

  • valorize the project results into scientific publications, as far as possible within the scope of confidentiality


What you'll bring with you


  • Master's degree in food science, materials science, food process engineering or related discipline, PhD in protein research or related field required

  • Excellent general methodological knowledge and expertise in food processing, in protein biochemistry and physical-chemical analysis

  • Broad and solid experience in the field of protein analytics and characterization (physical, chemical and instrumental)

  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills

  • You communicate fluently in English, preferentially also in German
