Head of MIL OPS

Mission:

• Leads the unit of military operations (OMM) in a safe, flexible and cost-efficient way


• Accountable and responsible for military operations on the military air bases


• Analyzes safety topics for implementation into the unit


• Responsible for some annexes in relation to the SLA SAF-sg.


• Maintains direct contact and very close collaboration with the Swiss Air Force (mainly AOC)


• Leads the change management process according to OPS needs


• Ensures appropriate personnel training and sufficient staffed OPS in local units


• Works closely with the Head of division and the various Domain Managers (safety, security & quality, training, equipment)

Profil:

• Sound understanding and a high degree of knowledge of MIL ATC


• Strong leadership attitude with outstanding communication skills


• Great flexibility and ability to motivate people in a geographically and multicultural dispersed environment


• Proven stakeholder and change management skills


• Strong ability to quickly understand the current corporate culture and learn how to navigate it effectively


• Attention to detail and stress resistance


• Deep interest in military affairs, Officer or Specialist Officer in the army (not mandatory, but an asset)
