Data Scientist (100%)

to join the group’s IT team reporting to the Director Systems & Services.
Your Responsiblities
In this newly created role, you are on a mission to build world-class data capabilities
for HeiQ.

• In line with HeiQ’s
  Strategy, you spearhead
  the execution of the Group’s data strategy.


• You model, build, and improve the company data warehouse (Azure SQL Data Warehouse).


• You create ETLs (Data Factory, PySpark) to pump data from primary and secondary sources in the data
  warehouse.


• You help to identify data sources in the business, to define KPIs and set targets, and to analyze
  performance across the business.


• You establish automated reports that serve the executive team and other business functions using
  suitable Business Intelligence tools.


• You collaborate with other departments and perform ad hoc analysis based on their needs.

You bring

• Master or PhD in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Statistic, Computer Science) or equivalent relevant
  experience.


• 3-5 years of practical experience in the domain of data science and analytics


• Experience building Data Warehouses. An understanding of Dimensional Modeling and OLAP paradigms
  are a big plus.


• Experience with Business Intelligence tools
  like PowerBI, Tableau or similar


• Solid SQL and Python skills.


• Solid understanding of databases.


• Experience with Azure Data Factory, PySpark.


• Experience with Databricks is a plus.


• Experience in a fast-paced company and working under pressure.


• Project management skills, ideally from working as a consultant, is a plus.


• A sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success.
