Edwards Lifesciences Transcatheter Heart Valves Team is looking for a Manager, Marketing to join the EU Therapy Development Team. This Manager, Marketing role will play a key role in defining the vision, strategy and objectives for the EU Therapy Development annual plan and have team leadership responsibilities to manage the plan implementation.
Summary of responsibilities:
Partner with cross-functional and business stakeholders to jointly develop a European therapy development plan across audience channels and markets, in alignment with the annual THV marketing plan and THV commercial imperatives.
Develop country-specific therapy development plans in partnership with the Business Unit Manager and/or Country Marketing Manager.
Be responsible for executing, tracking, evaluating and improving programs to deliver increased, measurable impact.
Have team leadership responsibilities including attracting, retaining, developing talent to perform and achieve at a high level of excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Assesses and interprets internal or external business issues, opportunities, and risks in order to lead in the development and implementation of comprehensive marketing strategies. This may include collaboration with internal and external parties for multiple concurrent major products, campaigns, launches, programs, and initiatives.
Plan and manage complex marketing activities with large scale or significant business impact with the accountability for successful completion of all deliverables.
Collaborate with cross functional and/or matrix teams for multiple concurrent major products, campaigns, launches, programs, and initiatives.
Manage and oversee the work of team members in multiple roles and locations. This direct line management responsibility includes establishing a robust talent development plan in alignment with functional growth strategies and the desired culture of the department.
Will have financial budget responsibilities.
Required Education/Skills:
Education
A bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years or Master’s degree with minimum of 7 years of marketing experience is required.

Prior experience in medical device/pharma therapy development or related field

Required Experience
Excellent track record of 3 to 5 years Therapy Development or Market Development experience in the healthcare industry (either medical devices or pharmaceutical industries), preferably cardiovascular.
Demonstrated performance track record within relevant industry/function of developing and implementing multi-channel marketing programs for country markets and multi-audience channels.
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills including high discretion/judgment in decision-making.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives.
Develop peer, cross functional and cross business relationships to maximize best practice sharing and team effectiveness.

Subject expertise
Develop deep knowledge of the patient/HCP journeys in the different country markets and different HCP segments (e.g. GP, GC, ICs) in order to provide insights and recommendations to grow disease and therapy awareness tactics/programs that ultimately drive therapy adoption.
Expert understanding of related aspects of marketing concepts and principles while identifying applications of functional knowledge and existing methodologies to complex problems.
Understanding of healthcare market, regulations and competitive dynamics
Knowledge of financial mechanisms related to marketing including forecasting, expense budgeting and management, purchase order compliance and processing, and 3rd party vendor compliance management.
Ability to develop and integrate metrics into the projects and operations that clearly demonstrate the value of marketing to the business.
Understanding of marketing content approval processes and systems, regulatory guidelines and legal boundaries

Ability to articulate the vision of the business unit and function.
Drive the implementation of the EU therapy development strategy and tactics on the country level with adaptations driven by the local environment, competition, and insights.
