Internship Biosimilars Medical Operations (12 months)

Job Description


Medical Operations:



  • Support the Regulatory Affairs team in a management of the supplier / consultant network (e.g., ensuring contract execution and access to Biogen materials)

  • Support BBU Drug Safety function in ensuring that the processes related to the organized data collection are followed and reported to the commercial partner as per Biogen SOP

  • Participate in the planning and management of the specific projects

  • Manage ESE and all its requirements; follows up on internal responsibilities, learn escalation pathways in the case of issues

  • Support the logistics for the external meeting

  • Interact with the medical communication agency engaged for the educational events preparation and asset development, follow up on the internal requirements for the supplier engagement, follow up on timeliness, ensure that the draft versions are reviewed by internal functions and feedback provided to a supplier


 


Internal communication:



  • Support the development of the monthly dashboard on BBU Medical activities. Collects the data, draft the content and finalize it after receiving the internal feedback. Collates reports to the executive summary.

  • Proactively interact with the internal stakeholders to assemble the activity and achievements list.


 


Content development:



  • Integrate the changes /revisions in the slide decks as requested by other medical functions

  • Work closely with medical functions in establishing a need for creating new content

  • Create independently content of moderate scientific complexity or decks for internal operational guidance


Qualifications



  • Minimum Master’s Degree in biomedical sciences

  • Good and “comfortable” communicator

  • Analytical thinking and Project management skills

  • Fluent in English


Additional Information


In this position as an Intern / Trainee you will be trained by the BBU medical affairs team mainly on the tasks that are related to medical operations, internal communication, and scientific content development. You will understand processes that are required for the completion of the regulatory / drug safety reporting obligations, external Healthcare Provider (HCP) engagement in a compliant manner, you will get the exposure in the internal communication and process that are required for the cross-functional alignment, and the insights in the different scientific formats used for the interaction with the scientific / HCP community from the medical perspective.


You will be assigned the tasks and responsibilities gradually, as you will gain the experience and will be trained by the internal mentors. You will report to the Head of Medical Operations, BBU.
