DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Delivery Director/Senior Director to strengthen our Delivery Management Team to drive end-to-end client projects for one of our key Life Science Customer cooperating closely with our Account Managers and Business Development. You must be able to engage people, working fully autonomously, build your own strategy aligned to EPAM strategy and goals. You are ready to solve complex problems, drive solutions and to deal with all kinds of challenges outside of your comfort zone. You do have a strong technical background matched with managerial skills. You are a team player ready to cooperate with experts all over the world. You are demonstrating EPAM engineering and leadership excellence to our customer and to your peers.
What You’ll Do
Be responsible for the end-to-end Customer delivery from initiation through the whole life cycle; ensuring projects/programs are delivered successfully and in line with EPAM processes
Manage Customer relationship, expectations, represent delivery on governance level
Address Customer issues, identify and manage engagement risks, ensure that the Customer executes their responsibilities
Co-ordinate the preparation of Customer proposals and statements of work
Run multiple streams of activities and coordinate with Customer groups in various stages of the lifecycle
Be accountable for delivery in all aspects – financial, sourcing, implementation, and business as well as regulatory requirements
Cooperate with your peers, delivery partners, technology consultants, account managers and solution architects
Work closely with multi-disciplined teams of product owners, architects, engineers, and quality assurance experts to drive estimates, delivery plans and retrospectives. Identify and manage engagement risks and flag serious issues early
Participate in business development at existing clients and at new prospects. Understand client needs, continuously identifying new opportunities and drive growth of the accounts you are associated with
Lead and represent delivery in sales and presales activities until contracting and beyond
Share knowledge and best practices within the organization and with Customers
Continuously educate yourself
Requirements
Hands-on experience delivering complex projects, managing customer stakeholders on all levels and successfully driving IT services engagements
Strong experience with Life Sciences IT domain, understanding regulatory element
Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Software Development Life Cycle, and various methodologies, experience with Agile delivery
Proven ability to lead, manage, and mentor multi-disciplinary projects including areas such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Hardware, Software, Design Research and Human Factors
Hands-on experience with different engagement models
Ability to establish solid working relationships with clients, plus the ability to work effectively as a member of a dynamic, dispersed virtual team and to meet deadlines
Strong experience working with distributed teams on the Customer side
Excellent communication, presentation, and planning skills
Exceptional organizational, leadership and stakeholder management skills
Self-motivated, ability to multitask, reliable to deliver on time, quick-thinker, able to work in a fast-paced work environment
5+ years experience in Life Science/Health domain
5-10 years of experience working in consulting or outsourcing Account/Delivery Management
5+ years Project Management experience
Fluent German and English
Bachelor or master's degree, in IT, Science or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering domain
Travel after COVID up to 40% may be required
