The mission: 


We work with a sense of urgency and purpose to do now what patients need next. We are seeking a Domain Architect for Clinical and Medical Data to join us, helping to reinvent how clinical data is collected, managed, analysed and reused at scale. 


Your mission will be to influence, design and implement optimal end-to-end flows for clinical data, supporting Roche's vision of Meaning Full Data At Scale (MDAS). You will work across a diverse ecosystem of external and internal partners to bring Roche MDAS vision for clinical to reality.

You will be a member of the PDIX Architecture & Emerging Technologies (PDIX A&ET) Chapter, a team responsible for advancing innovation and technology strategy in Pharma Development. The PDIX A&ET chapter comprises technology experts, domain architects, solution architects and data modellers that together design and evolve Information Systems for Pharma Development.

  • You are a senior Domain Architect, with over 10+ years supporting Pharma Drug Development. 


  • You have supported various Drug Development domains and have a deep understanding of Clinical Electronic Data Collection, Clinical Data Management and Analysis. 


  • You have a successful track record in delivering complex information technology programs, from strategy definition to implementation.


  • You not only understand technology and information, but are also a skilled influencer and can rally stakeholders around an inspirational vision.  


  • You are a strong team player with a pronounced service orientation and proven track of successful collaboration with senior leaders. 


  • You want to work for a company where you can grow and expand your interests across functions and geographies. 




 


Desired skills and experience:



  • Masters in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a bachelor degree with significant domain experience.


  • Recognized expert in Clinical Data and Management technologies.


  • Strong architecture skills, including Business Architecture, Information Architecture and Solution Architecture.


  • Business Systems experience:



    • Experience with Medidata Rave and components.


    • Expertise in understanding the Rave ODM structure.


    • Experience in Electronic Data Capture systems and the ecosystem. 



  • Architecture experience:



    • Experience in interfacing with various EHR/EMR Data vendors / models.


    • Experience with Data standardization, Harmonization. 


    • Experience with CDISC data standards. Deep understanding of SDTM, ADAM data models. 


    • Experience with IoT architecture.



  • Experience in designing Risk Based Monitoring / Data surveillance systems.


  • Exhibits an Agile and practical mindset:



    • Good enough instead of perfection


    • Focus on “Reuse before Buy before Make” when providing direction on future solutions. The best solution may not need significant software development. 



  • Fluent in english.
