Job Description

The Securities Operation team in the Application Management Services is responsible to provide application maintenance and small enhancements services for the securities operation and processing (order management/routing, transaction processing, settlement, reconciliation, corporate actions) for our CH/FL SaaS clients in close collaboration with the Back-Office department. Your tasks will include:

• Analyze business requirements in close collaboration with clients and other stakeholders (i.e. other internal teams or 3rd party providers)


• Perform bug analysis and implement bug fixing on the parameterization and customization layer of the Avaloq’s core banking platforms


• Implement and perform unit and system integration tests to meet the business requirements and guarantee the quality


• Provide support to the user acceptance test phase (on request)


• Ensure high quality service to the customers in terms of reliable delivery and efficient communication

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science/Physics/Engineering/Mathematics or comparable education


• At least 2-3 years of work experience in the fintech or financial sector


• Good programming skills and knowledge of Software Development best practices


• Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills


• Excellent client-orientation and communication skills


• Fluent in spoken and written English

• Business know-how in Securities Operation and Processing, Securities instruments is a strong advantage


• German or Italian or French language skills are considered as a plus
