We Elevate... Your Responsibilities

Electronics, performing safety relevant functions, become more and more important for elevator systems and a key differentiator. In this role and context, you handle claims, analyse defective safety relevant devices and communicate to our internal costumers. You also support to conceptualize, design, specify, and develop functional safety embedded devices. Main tasks include:

• Handle claims and maintain a clear and straight communication towards the customer


• Analyse claimed devices and support failure analysis in the elevator system, strive for a solution in close collaboration with the experts


• Develop functional safety concepts and write requirements for a distributed system in collaboration with specialists


• Contribute to implementation of safety hardware


• Collaborate with team members locally and remotely

You are used to work in small teams and appreciate to be involved in a broad field of activities. At the same time, you are used do collaborate in an international, distributed environment with changing priorities. Further requirements may include:

• Bachelor or master’s degree in electrical engineering


• First experiences with embedded systems regarding requirements engineering as well as hardware and software development


• Understanding of design and real-time systems


• Ability to think broad and take the whole elevator system in consideration to uncover problems and develop solutions together with device experts


• Fluent language skills in English, German is a plus


• Knowledge of functional safety and relevant standards as well as very basic mechanical expertise are beneficial
