Senior Software Engineer

As a senior Software Engineer in the IT Index team in Zurich, you will be part of a multicultural team that builds, tests and operates the SIX Index calculation platform for Swiss and Nordic indices.

What You Will Do

• design, build, automate, deploy and maintain highly available, robust, resilient and secure applications/solutions 


• contribute towards new and ongoing technology projects in areas of scalability, performance and high availability and automation 


• collaborate with architects, developers, performance engineers and system administrators


• support the team to rapidly develop new financial products 


• investigate production issues and perform root cause analysis

What You Bring

• ​​​​​​proven experience as Linux application architect and developer in "Java, C#, Python or Scala", including experience supporting business-critical production systems


• agile "DevOps" mindset as well as "Data Analytics and/or Security Compliance" experience a plus


• financial markets/trading experience would be a plus


• positive, result-driven attitude with high sense for team work and quality


• excellent verbal and written skills in English
