Commercial Operations Sr Manager EEMEA (East Europe, Middle East, Africa)

Set up and manage all aspects of commercial planning & effectiveness for the EEMEA region including translating annual operating plan and forecast planning into actionable initiatives



  • Lead, develop and implement appropriate models and determine key drivers that characterize business performance at the market and product level including Edwards and competitive product launches, and changes in market dynamics. Identify key risks and opportunities to determine timing and level of potential impacts. Provide recommendations, identify, gain buy-in from, and present findings to senior management in support of new projects, initiatives, and/or programs

  • Oversee the development of tracking capabilities that connect financial forecasts with commercial execution and the related projects, programs and activities designed to retain business and drive growth. Areas in scope include ensuring Commercial Distributor Sales Channel Optimization, Regional Tender management, Supply Planning Alignment and Order Fulfillment monitoring for adherence to Forecast, Distributor risk management and business intelligence, for critical care Supports needs for Technical Service initiatives

  • Lead the program management of Source of Growth Action plans for the region, drive KODs and commercial priority initiatives while ensuring adherence to strategic commercial imperatives and influence regional leadership and help transform commercial strategies sand execution

  • Oversee professional education activities within the region, ensuring education practices are optimized and compliance standards are achieved

  • Design and deploy fit for purpose development tools to measure and report progress while utilizing output to drive the business and operational review process ensuring adherence to plans. Contribute to the monthly team update to communicate progress and performance highlights thereby contributing to buy-in and broad organizational connectivity

  • Direct activities in multiple areas with overall responsibility of developing systems, planning, staffing, budgeting, managing expense priorities, recommending and implementing changes to methods through several managers/SME. Develop a robust talent development and succession planning in alignment with functional growth strategies across the regional commercial operations organization


Education & Skills Required



  • Bachelor's Degree in related field, related experience with related sales operations, business strategy and/or financial planning experience and skill levels exceeding the requirements of the previous level, Demonstrated track record in people management




  • Experience in business operations and commercial effectiveness , finance, supply chain, strategy, marketing, regulatory affairs. Certification in related field (e.g., HLSE, six sigma)  preferred proven successful project management leadership skills




  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related tools and applications (e.g., Oracle, JDE, MIDAS, and ELBIS, Salesforce.com administration, and/or QlikView development)




  • Ability to establish foundation of credibility based on integrity and a track record of achievement in leading and delivering on multiple, complex, and strategic projects and influencing business outcomes




  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills including high discretion/judgment in decision making




  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives




  • Experience working in the medical devices sector is considered as an asset (not mandatory).
