The Professional Education (Associate) Manager will be in charge of all SURGICAL Professional Education activities at the European and local levels.
You will oversee all components related to the definition, the execution, and the assessment of surgical Europe educational events regional and local ones:
Annual educational plan preparation
Event set up: agenda, location, educational objectives, targets, speakers
Speaker identification, contact, contract management & briefing
Slide review
Regulatory approval for external use
Coordination of all logistical requirements
Budget follow up
Organize communication around the events, including emailing campaigns
Define and implement follow-up tools to monitor customer satisfaction and impact on activity for each event
Management of external vendors involved in logistics, Audio-visuals or wetlab organization
Provide strategic insights to the Senior Professional Education & Digital Manager
Ensure compliance with legal rules (letters of engagement, consulting agreements) either directly or with the Legal Department.
Participate in meetings, seminars, congresses, and training sessions to acquire the latest clinical information useful to customers and team members and integrates new information into professional education strategy and tactics
Ensure that the company remains compliant with EUCOMED rules in all circumstances.
Monitor the activity of Professional Education speaker bureau and report to management on a quarterly basis
Qualifications:
Master or Ph.D. Degree or equivalent in science, medical or similar areas
3+ years of work experience in sales, marketing, or healthcare industry (we are looking for either associate manager or manager - depending on your experience)
Required skills:
Proven successful organizational and project management skills
Good knowledge and experience from healthcare industry (Pharma, Biotech, Medtech)
Be performance oriented, have a “never give up” attitude. The ideal candidate can work with full autonomy while being comfortable with regular reporting
Possess excellent English communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills to interact with key opinion leaders and societies at a high level
Ability to nail down programs from business objectives
Expert knowledge and understanding expertise in event management strategies: speaker management, content development, attendee/invite strategies
Must have an interest into new learning technologies (webcasts – live surgeries – internet forums …)
Demonstrated ability to develop professional education relationships with teams in all regions and drive alignment in training and objectives in product use criteria
Strict attention to detail
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
Willingness to travel around 30%
