For our global Imaging team we are seeking a highly motivated in vitro imaging expert skilled in fluorescence microscopy, cell biology and image processing.



Your responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Focus on the development, validation, execution and interpretation of complex imaging (microscopy) assays. These assays will be designed to be relevant to mechanism of action studies and/or for profiling both novel biological and chemical entities.

• The position is a lab-based role, demanding an enthusiastic and proactive mindset, along with a demonstrable ability to troubleshoot and optimize methods and an aptitude for data analysis.

• You will be given opportunities for continual learning and development and will be encouraged to contribute to implementing new technologies and processes.

• Set up, execute, and interpret complex imaging (microscopy) assays.

• Work closely with data Science experts for imaging analysis.

• Report of experimental data.

• Summarize results for presentation at internal meetings.

• Foster teamwork and collaboration.




Minimum requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

• A BSc in Biology, Pharmacology or related disciplines and at least 5 years of experience in industrial or academic environment with a strong imaging component.

• Skilled in confocal microscopy and image acquisition.

• Experience in staining preparation of samples.

• Willingness to learn, implement and support imaging assays. Highly organized with a meticulous attention to detail.

• Ability to work on multiple projects. Adaptability, enthusiasm for new technologies and a willingness to apply them.



Desirable requirements:

• Knowledge of image analysis and data analysis software would be a plus

• In vivo imaging experience or willingness to learn would be a plus
