 As the largest medical network in Switzerland, we set standards with our clinics, outpatient surgery centres and emergency units. First-class medical quality and the well-being of the individual are our focus. We are looking for a new team member to support our Fertility Centre as of 1st November 2021, or by agreement.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• You will be responsible for all laboratory services at the IVF and andrology laboratory; in particular for IUI/IVF/ICSI/ICSI-TESE, spermiograms and sperm preparation, vitrification and warming of egg cells/zygotes/embryos, cryopreservation of sperm and testicular tissue, and for PGT


• You will work independently as well as in close collaboration with a well-established laboratory and practice team


• Using your skills in psychology and your strong sense of empathy, you will explain the laboratory procedures that follow on from follicular puncture to couples


• You will regularly take part in conferences and workshops, and so contribute to the further optimisation and improvement of our services


• You will be responsible for our laboratory’s material and quality management
   

YOUR PROFILE

• You have a master’s degree in Biology/Chemistry/Biochemistry or a medical qualification at university level, plus a further professional development qualification considered suitable by the supervisory authority (e.g. Senior Clinical Embryologist certification (ESHRE), a master’s degree in embryology etc.) and also have several years of experience working in an IVF laboratory


• You are a solution-focused, team-oriented, cooperative and approachable person, who enjoys working in a well-established, professional and dynamic team


• Your personal strengths include effective interpersonal skills and the ability to assert yourself. In addition, you also have a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to focus for sustained periods of time


• Your commitment and flexibility mean you can accommodate working at weekends


• You are competent and confident in the use of IT and have extensive knowledge of MS Office
