What it's about


A Senior Product Manager is a newly created role within the Product Management team of Partners Group, ideal for someone who has an entrepreneurial mindset and wants to shape this exciting new function. We are looking for an experienced subject matter expert who drives the lifecycle management of an assigned product portfolio and reviews output of less experienced team members.


 


You will be part of the Product Management Team with the following responsibilities:



  • Taking full ownership of the lifecycle of assigned products

  • Ensuring timely and seamless launch of products, restructurings and winddowns in close collaboration with sales, structuring, operational teams and service providers

  • Leading team-relevant projects and contributes to business unit-relevant projects

  • Has a clear understanding of private markets, product structures as well as processes, roles, systems and responsibilities across the firm

  • Proactively interacting with internal and external stakeholders to assess satisfaction, identify issues and independently implement robust resolution

  • Reviews output of team members and trains less experienced product managers, delivers targeted education sessions for the wider team

  • Confidently liaising with client counterparts to understand their operational needs, explaining our capabilities and implementing solutions


 

What we expect



  • University degree or equivalent, with emphasis on business administration, finance or economics

  • Minimum of 5-8 years of professional work experience in banking, asset management or similar

  • Profound knowledge of the financial services industry, experience in private equity or another private markets asset class is a plus

  • Knowhow in the design, implementation and the operational set-up of innovative product and investment structures is a plus

  • A self-directed person, able to manage effectively and complete complex operating tasks in demanding timelines and with competing priorities

  • Ability and desire to train, coach, and mentor junior team members

  • Self-motivated and proactive individual with a desire to learn and succeed

  • Excellent English skills, additional languages are a plus

  • Effective and reliable team player
