For every child, a Champion
UNICEF works in some of the world’s toughest places, to reach the world’s most disadvantaged children. To save their lives. To defend their rights. To help them fulfill their potential. Across 190 countries and territories, we work for every child, everywhere, every day, to build a better world for everyone. And we never give up.
The Private Sector Fundraising & Partnerships (PSFP) section of UNICEF works with 33 National Committees and 21 UNICEF country offices to maximize income. The purpose of the Global Philanthropy team is to grow income from major donors, faith and membership-based organizations.
To do so efficiently, we must have the enabling systems and technology in place at both global and national levels to help our teams efficiently prospect, cultivate and solicit donations, including state-of-the-art donor databases and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems. Currently, UNICEF is running two significant initiatives in this regard:
How can you make a difference?
The Business Analyst will play a critical role, translating the business needs of the Global Philanthropy team to the technical teams and ensuring that UNICEF major gift fundraising teams globally are equipped with cutting edge, quality systems to maximize funds to improve children’s lives.
The individual contractor will identify and articulate specific CRM requirements for major gift fundraising for both UNISON and SES, at both HQ and market level. After understanding and documenting requirements, the Business Analyst will support delivery by actively participating in an AGILE based development framework including design, testing, training, go live support and documentation.
The role will also support rollouts to local UNICEF markets, including user training.
To do this, the Global Philanthropy Salesforce Business Analyst must work closely across multiple teams (UNISON project team, SES project team, Individual Giving team, Finance Team, ICT team, and markets) in developing, implementing and adopting these technical solutions.
