About the Role
Swiss Re Reinsurance is implementing a new systems and process environment to support the financial closing for the Reinsurance business through the Olympus Programme. The IETV project is driving the development and implementation of the new end-to-end processes and systems for coordinated economic and traditional financial reporting, from source to sub-ledger and general ledger, using the innovative 'baseline delta' approach. The focus for Phase 1 (2016 to 2019) is on co-developing a standard sub-ledger for (Re)-Insurance together with SAP. Phase 2 (2018 to 2025) focuses on implementation and rolling out to the Finance Reinsurance organisation
To facilitate the implementation, an Agile approach is being utilized with multiple sprint teams. The Business Analyst role will be a member of a sprint team with the following responsibilities:
Key Accountabilities
Ensure business requirements of the IETV project are met by liaising with users and application developers
Become trusted expert on FPSL functionality and the technical framework surrounding SwissRe's implementation
Keep Product Owners advised of progress; escalate any issues
Liaise with various Olympus teams to deliver all business requirements
