What it's about

The Business Applications Analytics Group is closely aligned with the business teams and responsible for the key applications to administrate, monitor and analyze Partners Group’s investment programs. It takes care of the development, customization and on-going enhancement of these applications to best support the global business operations of Partners Group.

 

Responsibilities 

• Collect, define and prioritize business requirements for data analysis and visualization, with the aim to steer business decisions and improve operational efficiency


• Creating and maintaining key BI (business intelligence) dashboards and reports (using QlikSense) that help drive business decisions


• Maintain, document, and enhance business applications and processes


• Perform exploratory and targeted data analyses to serve the business needs


• Drive implementation of controls to test data quality and ensure full consistency with other systems and databases


• Closely collaborate with business users to translate business requirements into clearly defined technical requirements, and provide technical solutions


• Identify and address data-related issues


• Supports and execute the company data analytics strategy and focuses on advanced data analytics

What we expect

Required Qualification

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Mathematics, or other technical field


• 3+ years of relevant technology experience in BI and Data Analytics


• Experience with data visualization tools or platforms (QlikSense is a plus)


• Demonstrated experience in Python, SQL / Relational Database


• An interest or experience in Machine Learning/AI/NLP algorithms is a plus


• Strong understanding of database management systems, and ETL (extract, transform, load) framework


• Demonstrated advanced ability to translate functional business requirements into technical solutions


• Strong interpersonal skills which lend themselves to a team-oriented approach

 

Preferred Qualification

• Demonstrated experience in designing and building software solutions and integration with existing systems


• SQL / Relational Database experience including design, complex procedure writing, and performance understanding


• Advanced Python skills


• A proponent of strong collaborative software engineering techniques and methods: agile development, continuous integration, code review or pairing, unit testing, refactoring and related approaches


• Knowledge of Financial Services and Asset Management is a plus
