Team Lead Copywriter & Text (all genders, 80-100%)

We are a dynamic team of online editors and creative copywriters. Every day we act as the voice of the brand, communicating Mammut's core values and purpose – to create a world moved by mountains. We share a passion for creative expression, attention to detail and vision for big ideas. In this role, you would lead our small team, ensuring consistency across brand touchpoints.We are looking for somone to step into this role on October 1st 2021 or by agreement.

Key responsibilities:

• Creation of all campaign texts: Headlines, short and long texts, claims and slogans as the basis for international campaigns on all communication channels in close cooperation with the design team and in the respective campaign team


• Target-group-oriented formulation of all texts, especially consumer benefits for any sell-in and sell-out communication


• Formulation of product texts for mammut.com and our partners


• Drafting/conducting interviews for campaigns, blog articles and film projects


• Brand Glossary creation and compliance control


• Editing and quality control of text team


• Translation management with external agency for all marketing text types


• Editorial oversight of long-form content production for the Mammut Journal (blog)


• Management of 2 copywriters

Skills requirements:

• Completed studies or comparable training in the field of communication, linguistics


• Experience in team leadership and a conceptual strength


• Strong customer and product orientation


• Sound knowledge of marketing communication


• Relevant professional experience in an agency or in an advertising department on the corporate side


• German or English as mother tongue and the other language fluently spoken and written


• Passionate about the mountains and outdoor sports in general
