Lead LIBOR transition SUB/IWM lending

Your field of responsibility

 

The transition from LIBOR to Alternative Reference Rates (ARRs) is possibly the most fundamental change to the financial industry in recent years across products, processes, models and advisory. As a senior member of the Global IBOR transition team, you lead the operational readiness and transition for Credit Suisse AG and Credit Suisse (Schweiz) AG in Switzerland with particular emphasis on the lending offering and in close collaboration with the respective front office, product management and corporate functions. In this role, you will be an integral part of the global transition team, closely aligning with the transition activities front-to-back in other divisions and on other platforms. This is a high visibility role with significant exposure to different businesses/functions, senior management and governance forums where you will be representing the program. As a seasoned project manager with experience in financial products, client transitions and front-to-back processing, you will plan, lead, coordinate and support the businesses in the transition from LIBOR to ARRs ensuring transparency to partners and governing bodies, and appropriate project risk management.

Become part of a global team of seasoned market and project professionals with the global and cross-divisional mandate to drive the transition of the bank from LIBOR to ARRs. The Zurich-based team covering the Swiss booking platform in particular but also the Credit Suisse International Wealth Management locations. It consists of a diverse mix of internal and external staff with a multitude of backgrounds but one common goal.


 


Your skills and experience

 

  • The LIBOR transition encompasses a wide variety of topics and functions to be coordinated. Being able to keep the big picture in mind throughout the project is essential. Furthermore,

  • University degree in business administration, finance, (computer) science or equivalent

  • At least 10 years of experience in a project management and/or consulting role

  • Line management experience in leading a small high-performing team consisting of internal and external staff

  • Ability to deliver in a fast pace environment, particularly bridging business requirements and platform capabilities

  •  Experience in multi-location delivery programs!

  • Understanding of key financial instruments such as lending products and interest rate derivatives

  • Experience in supporting and managing client transitions

  • Highly motivated, self-driven and collaborative spirit with superb interpersonal and communication skills

  • Hands-on, dedicated and results-oriented analytical, conceptual and problem solving attitude

  • Prior experience in CS and especially in relevant functions of the organization is a definitive advantage

  • Proficiency in English required; German is a plus
