Job Purpose and Impact


The Trading Portfolio Lead will serve as a leaders' counselor, directing, advising and making decisions on information technology activities for a team, with a large and complex portfolio of global solutions and services. We seek a professional to lead and direct professionals and indirect staff, for processes, data and solutions.



This position guides the strategy and governance of the services within the portfolio.  Focused on setting and achieving target architecture aligned to business outcomes, overseeing successful delivery and support models for global platforms, and accountable for management of strategy, investments and run financials for our assets in the portfolio. 


Preferred location:


Geneva (primary), Schipol, Mechelen, London


Key Accountabilities



  • Review and approve the prioritized list of projects within a portfolio of projects.

  • Provide thought leadership and direction to govern and monitor integration across processes, technology, and data.

  • Provide thought leadership and direction to develop the Portfolio strategy for a subset of our organization.

  • Provide strategic leadership, development and talent management activities for direct reports and their teams, which may include forecasting resource needs, recruiting, hiring, performance management, training and budgeting. 

  • Ensure vendor strategy and financial management of the portfolio

  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of eight years of related work experience, five years of supervisory experience

  • Experience in development and management of trading technology strategy and roadmaps

  • Strong trade expertise / industry experience


Preferred Qualifications



  • 10 years of experience in managing applications

  • Proven experience leading, developing and influencing teams in a global, matrixed, leveraged organization

  • Ability to manage strategic vendor relationships

  • Ability to negotiate and/or provide strategic oversight over contracts with deal sizes of $10M+

  • Ability to lead strategy development and effectively convert strategy into execution

  • Strong system thinking capability, collaboration and influencing skills

  • Master’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
