What it's about


Work directly with the CFO & CEO on a wide range of strategic projects linking the firm's business priorities to its financials. You thereby support the Corporate Development team on various corporate as well as shareholder relations-related projects. Although this function reports to the Head Corporate Development you'll be working with many departments across the business


The job will provide unmatched access to senior executives at a growing and highly successful Private Markets firm. A candidate will observe, learn and develop many invaluable skills. Although this is considered a full-time job, the employee should – depending on performance – expect to rotate out of the Corporate Development team / CFO office into a business line after 30 to 36 months.


 


Key Activities



  • Support the Corporate Development team in strategic and business projects on behalf of the Board of Directors or Executive Committee/CFO Office

  • Conduct data-driven research and analysis for various executive projects

  • Develop and implement strategic and operational business plans across the firm and asset classes (including financial planning across departments and countries)

  • Initiate, coordinate and implement cross-firm business development projects; monitor and report on project progress to senior executives

  • Work collaboratively with investment, client and corporate teams and become an expert on the firm's strategy, investment platform, product offerings, internal processes and culture


 

What we expect



  • Higher level of education (Master's from a top institution), with a coursework emphasis on Finance or Business Administration

  • Up to 3 years of relevant professional experience within finance, management consulting or investment banking, ideally with experience in private markets

  • Experience in project management

  • Ambitious and driven individual, prepared to take self-initiative and work towards tight deadlines, highly entrepreneurial, problem solving skills

  • High level of analytical skills and flair for numbers; proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in combination with high attention to detail, which allows you to build up solid working relationships when collaborating with senior management; proven team player

  • Fluent in English, German is an advantage
